James A. Garfield National Historic Site
The home was purchased by Garfield in 1876 and has since been restored for public use and is now operated by the National Park Service.
The historic site features a visitor center – home to a variety of historical exhibits from Garfield’s life and presidency – and features acres of well-maintained grounds.
Guests can tour the Garfield home with a volunteer interpreter and view the Victorian décor and historic furnishings within.
