The Marietta Castle was built in 1855, in the historic district of Marietta in Southern Ohio. The Castle was eventually purchased by Edward Nye and left to his family. Granddaughter Jessie Lindsay lived in the home for 45 years, before the Castle was purchased by L. Stewart Bosley in 1974.
After years of renovations and repairs, the Castle was deeded to the Betsey Mills Corporation in 1992 and open for public tours in 1994.
